COMMUNITY SHELTER HOMELESS CENTRE DEVELOPMENT

Working Towards a Brighter Future for Homeless people

In 2021 our aim is to open the UK's first boot camp in the West Midlands to help those who are homeless begin a new phase in their lives.

We will welcome residents into their home, which are serviced apartments for the 8-week boot camp.  The structured programmes involves daily exercise including weights, job seeking, tenancy and money management skills and gets participants job ready either volunteering or having attended at least one job interview. The support doesn’t end there, for 6 months the individual continues to receive support to ensure a successful transition into employment and a secure home.

Stories of Homeless People about life on the Streets

Other stories from Rough Sleepers  about life on the street coming soon.  No one story about homelessness is the same.  They are so varied.  Its not the end of the world and there is hope as long as they don't give up and we do not give up on them.  Please note we have their permission to use their videos.

We cannot imagine two years living on the streets

Pete has been homeless for 2 years

Hopefully Pete might have found somewhere to live by now but there are hundreds like Pete on the street with no where to call home.  Can you help us to help Pete and others in his position.  We have launched a fundraising campaign to raise £1,000,000 to create a our development costs.  We will provide hot meals 3 times per day, clothing, shower facilities and somewhere warm to sleep. The funds will help to pay for the premises and provide the other services, then a place to stay won't just be for Christmas.or until CoronerVirus is over but a place to start all over again.
